Judy Chen

Judy Chen is a Buddhist practitioner trained in various schools and has worked to promote cooperation among the different Buddhist organizations in the New York tristate area while serving as the vice president in the umbrella organization, the Buddhist Council of New York, and also among the Chinese Buddhist groups in the American Buddhist Confederation in Chinatown. 

She was also heavily involved in fostering mutual understanding and collaboration among faith traditions and participated as a Buddhist delegate in various interfaith events in NY, Barcelona, Glasgow, and Turkey.

She also served as the clergy liaison for the New York Police Department. She has a deep interest in helping people integrating Buddhist teachings in their everyday life through Chinese and Japanese tea ceremony, Chinese calligraphy, music, iaido, meditation, and serves as tea consultant in tea companies in NY and Vancouver. On the financial side, she worked as a senior accountant/consultant at Deloitte & Touche and a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. She has served on the Board of Crosscurrents/ARIL since 2010.
