Melanie Barbato

Melanie Barbato is a researcher and poet. She has a passion for the beauty, the good, the bad, and the ugly of religious communication, verbal and nonverbal, especially across religious or cultural boundaries. Melanie is currently based at the University of Münster, Germany, where she studies the language of diplomatic Hindu-Christian dialogue. She enjoys talking to people from all walks of life, and, as a dialogue facilitator, strives to promote nonviolence and love for learning rather than uniformity of views. In another life, she would like to be either a Carthusian or an Elvis impersonator.
